Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Avefind account and associated personal information. Follow the steps below or use the button to open an email to our support team.

How to request account deletion

  1. Contact support at hello@avefind.com.
  2. Use the email subject line Account Deletion so we can route your request quickly.
  3. Send the message from the email address linked to your Avefind account, or include enough detail (for example your registered phone number or user identifier) so we can verify you and process the request.

What we delete

When we approve and complete your request, we will delete your user account and associated personal information held for ordinary account and profile purposes, in line with our privacy policy and applicable law.

What may be kept temporarily

Certain order and transaction information may be retained for a limited period, after account deletion where we need it for compliance, internal records, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or to meet legal obligations.

That can include requirements under Nigeria's data protection framework (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and related regulations), together with tax, accounting, and financial record-keeping rules that apply to marketplace and payment activity. Retention is limited to what is necessary and for no longer than required by those obligations.
